I have a Sprint s8. I cannot call numbers off Google chrome.

Like random numbers not in my contacts. It shows a regular number (with dashes) in Google then when I look at my phone the number is like 011 with about a dozen numbers following that. Why is this? If I manually enter the phone number it works but. I just want to click the number and have my phone call it automatically. FYI I use the Samsung phone app as my phone.
