my phone doesnt save some photos that i take s8 plus

hi i bought my phone last week but i noticed that my phone sometimes doenst save the pictures that i take even though i see after taking the photo on the little window near the cam button.but when i open gallery the pic is gone sometimes.anyone facing this also?
