AT&T bad esn, can it roam on AT&T?

I bought an AT&T bad esn phone and I'm using it overseas with no problem whatsoever. I'm traveling to the US soon and I'm planning to use roaming on my phone, but the company I'm with has an agreement with AT&T to provide the service through their network. I'm wondering if I won't have any problem and be able to use my phone.
