What's with the awful claims made on the "How to make your own Playstation Classic" article?

I haven't dug in, but in the 5 minutes I spent looking at it, the dude says you can get Playstation2 games running on a Pi (which is BS) and links you out to an Amazon page selling you an adapter with about 1/5 the power needed to run a Pi3.
