Should I buy a LG G4? (bootloop?)

Should I buy an LG G4? I heard it has bootloop issues, and I also heard that models with 600+ serial code are safe from it. What should I check to make sure it won't bootloop? there are no LG factories or shops around here, I'm planning to buy from some local shop so fixing it won't be possible. Should I just get a Samsung S6?
