Why won't my phone update?
I tried to update my phone, then about halfway through I received and error message. It said I had "SHA1 failure" how can I fix this in order to update my phone!

Why is my device status Custom?
After rooting my Galaxy S4 a while back I decided that I wanted to unroot completely. I installed SuperSU and tried the Triangle Away method to reset the flash counter.
I went into download mode and found that the Current Binary and System Status were both Official, but it still comes up as Custom in the device status? My Knox Kernel Lock was also 0x0, same with the warranty void. There wasn't a custom flash count either.
I have also tried removing the SD, rebooting into recovery, and wiping cache partitions without any luck.
SuperSU has indicated that the root is gone and that I have a stock rom, yet I can't seem to get the device status back to Official?
Is there any way to get it back without completely resetting the phone? I'm not too comfortable using Odin and I don't want to take my chances with potentially bricking my phone. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

New update for Android downloaded 2/28
Regarding the new update which I downloaded this afternoon 2/28. When I swipe down from the top of the screen, I see open aps, settings and the time, but I don't see the date!? I want to see exactly what date, time, and day it is! When I swipe down I expect to see date, time zone, open aps, downloads etc..... But you left out these out! Come on! I would also like to immediately change the screen brightness upon swipe down........

Stop Firefox mobile from opening when clearing recent apps
I've been using the mobile Firefox web browser for a while now across several devices, and I have one problem no matter the device or setup: Whenever I clear my recent apps list Firefox opens its self. I had a similar issue with another app, but through a simple mod I was able to remove the activity from it's manifest to stop it. Firefox doesn't seem to have this axtivity though. I decoded the manifest and searched it but didn't find what I'm looking for. Does anyone know how to stop this? Has anyone else had this issue? Any help is appreciated.

How much internal storage space do google now cards need to function properly?
I have a Moto X2 phone with 16 BG internal storage (only), running on Android 6.0.
I have 2GB of free space, yet when I attempt to view the Google now Cards, it says - Failed to load Now cards - Reason- Low storage space. I'm trying to understand - how much storage space is required for Google now cards? This specifically happened, when i installed the latest Android Security update (1 Aug 2016). Things were working just fine before that.

Alarm volume keeps setting itself to silent
Starting a few weeks ago, the alarm volume on my phone keeps setting itself to silent.
If I go to Settings --> Sound and Notification --> Volumes, the Alarm volume setting keeps on resetting itself to silent. I can manually move it back to full volume, and it will stay there for some time, but eventually (within 24 hours) get set back to zero. I haven't been able to figure out any particular action I take that causes it to reset, or how long it takes exactly.
I have an HTC M9, running Android 6.0 Not rooted or anything.

Why Is my phone overheating when I'm not even using it?
Hiya! So, I own a Samsung Galaxy J7 and I've had it since Christmas time and I love it! it works wonderfully! Except, I have one small problem: Ever since Saturday of last week the phone tends to get really hot even when I am not using it. I don't mean a little warm either. It gets incredibly hot, I checked the temperature of it and it got to 99 degrees Fahrenheit one time and continues to do so! I've tried a few things. I left the phone off all day, took out the battery and let them both rest which cooled them down, but once I rebooted they started to get incredibly hot again! Usually If I leave the phone completely powered off it cools down to normal temperature, but once It's powered on and left alone for maybe 10 minutes or so it starts to get increasingly hot quickly when I don't even interact with it. Is there something wrong with the phone itself? I've cleared the cache partition, the phone battery itself says it's even good. ( I was using an app to check) And I'm curious as to what's happening with my device If it isn't too much to ask.

Why is my GPS in the past?
I travel every day and travel large parts of the country. My GPS location is frequently shown as locations I haven't been to for days. For instance, my phone currently believes that I am in Duluth Minnesota, a place that I was at almost a week ago.

Why is LTE in the notification dropdown?
I'm on a Sony Xperia z2 running android 6.0.1 and I noticed the button to enable or disable LTE in the notification bar dropdown, its the same as switching the preferred network type in the settings. My question is why did they put it there? If i have mobile data disabled and LTE enabled it shouldn't make a difference or does it? I currently put both mobile network and LTE out and when i switch off internet i also switch off LTE because i don't understand the logic behind this. Does someone know why?

I'm a newbee, ok...so be easy on me, anyway want to hook up a speaker with chromecast audio
but I read that it requires a bluetooth connection, so here's my dilemma, here in Canada we do not have large packs of data, or unlimited data, will strreaming from my phone via bluetooth to the speaker use my very limited data from my phone? ( 500 MB )

Motorola G2 software update does not complete install-error
I keep getting a software update message popping up telling me to install latest software, but everytime I try it will not install, just generates an error, restarts, then says update failed to install. How can I pin code lock my phone without advertisements, or popup screens?
Ive' searched for days to find a pin code lock app. They either put adds on my phone, or they access files that are not necessary for a simple app. I've searched in both free and paid apps for my android phone, and have not yet found one that ONLY locks my phone and shows the time without unlocking. Backlight flicker/pulse…PWM or defect?
I'm experiencing either a defect or an unfortunate feature on this tablet. I just took delivery of a new one, and while viewing any solid colors besides grey on the screen everything is fine (also no dead pixels), but I'm noticing what appears to be slight backlight flickering/pulsing whenever grey or light blue is shown on the screen. It seems to be PWM (pulse width modulation) of the leds, but I can't be certain it's a defect or just the unfortunate way these tablets' led screens are designed. It's a very subtle but consistent and annoying pulse, but it's definitely there. Can anyone confirm that PWM is what's going on with these tablets or if this is a defective screen. The screen doesn't pulse at all on any other colors solid or only partially filling the screen or otherwise.

Dear all,
I have been enjoying my Galaxy S7 edge for some time now, however yesterday the dreaded issue of the dark horizontal stripes decided to haunt me.
As the device is still under warranty I will ask for a replacement. So my question is, is it possible to back up my current device including settings, apps, media and passwords and migrate to a new S7? What is the way if possible?
Any help will be much appreciated, thank you.

My samsung galaxy note edge phone was already downloading all the software updates but when the next step pop up in the screen and told that i have to tap and install my phone was going to restart but it ended nothing it didn't open! Google Apps don't work on mobile on S6
I can run other apps like FB and mobile games on mobile, but I can't access my Google account, Play Store, Google app to do searches and even Pokemon Go on mobile. But if I use WiFi, everything works fine. I've tried safe mode, clearing caches, restarting, and many other solutions I've found and none have worked. Any other suggestions?

What could be causing a situational phantom touch?
It is a Moto G 4 and the problem began about two months after receiving the phone, new.
If my screen dims due to a timeout
The screen timeouts
The screen is shut off for any reason
The brightness is adjusted either direction
Or I make a phone call (if it passes the dialing phase)

My Note 5 was dropped, now it won't turn on anymore
It was dropped badly on the floor, screen facing down. There was no visible crack. At first it was still showing white lines on the screen but after that, it won't turn on anymore. I tried charging it but there's no indication its receiving power and even the LEDs not lighting up. I'm planning to get the LCD + Digitizer replaced but I'm worried that the motherboard might also be the problem. Any suggestions?

I'm using LG G4 and I can't access my files because of screen overlay, what to do?
The problem says "can't access camera, storage, audio, files, go to app settings to change permission" and whenever I go to app settings to allow permission, it tells me again to "open settings" where in fact I'm already in settings. Over a period of one and a half years the phone detected the 4G / LTE signal without any problem.
In the last december the operating system was upgraded, security update, but did not change the version of android.
From that moment, always detects the signal E, and sometimes the signal H / H +. But the 4G signal never again.
The phone never fell on the floor, never fell into the water, the SIM chip works on 4G / LTE on other phones.
After a month with this problem, I root the phone to have more options for repair.
Please can anyone help me with this problem?

Android Auto not displaying on 2017 Chev Colorado MyLink
Hi Everyone.
My Android Auto was working fine with MyLink for about almost 3 months since I got my new 2017 Chevrolet Colorado. I have Galaxy S7, on Android version 6.01 (Verizon)
I notice it will not display on the MyLink device after I installed the App AirWatch. It acknowledges being connected at both the MyLink and on my Galaxy S7.
This is the only one I can blame at the moment, but my company IT Security Department tells me there are no restriction set for this the Android Auto App.
What can you tell me? HELP!!

Phone says 84 Draft emails, computer says 0
I use Hotmail (Outlook) almost exclusively for email. My Samsung Galaxy S5 shows 84 draft emails (almost all with "no recipients") and accidentally put there. I "think" drafts were auto-saved because I hit the back-arrow (lower right, next to the home button). I can't delete any via a long-tap . . . & there surely is a better way to empty a folder than 1-by-1 anyway.
So I tried on my win10 computer. The draft email folder shows empty on my computer. How do I empty that folder & how do I keep from accidentally saving more unwanted drafts?

Can the Visual Land Prestige Elite 9q be rooted?

Move files from "recent downloads" on Galaxy Tab A

App Info doesn't show the app author. Is there another way to get this information from the apps on my phone. Searching in the store has been futile. For example, I've acquired an app call Messages. But now there are two. I know one is from Google, but neither of them show their origins.

samsung galaxy s3 sd card not recognized but still works
i have samsung galaxy s3, recently i uploaded mp3 files to the sd card. i can read files from the sd card, but when i enter settings -> storage , the size calculation is slow and eventually it keeps saying "calculating" and the sd card is not recognized.

Custom binary blocked by FRP Lock.
I have a Note 7, and there is no Software on it and alsways if I want to flash TWRP via Odin, ist says: Custom binary (RECOVERY) blocked by FRP Lock. I cant start the Phone in any ways because there is this block. So the TWRP img.tar file is always booting up to 99% in Odin and then odin says FAIL.

Android messages icon indicates unread messages
This started after the app became Android messages. My app icon indicates I have unread messages, equal to the number of message threads I have, even though I've open all the messages.
I've tried several things to fix, including restarting, uninstalling, and clearing the apps cache.
Phone is a Moto Z Droid.

How come my "location found" notification is not going away?
I've noticed over the past week or so that I am getting a frequent "location found" notification, and when I swipe to remove it it reappears. I haven't d/l'd any new location specific app's of late, but I'm wondering if an update is the culprit. But which one? Or is this a Marshmallow or carrier issue?

Motorola Droid Mini shuts down frequently because it thinks the battery is dead when it is not
I have been having increasing issues with battery drain. I had the battery replaced but issues persisted so i assumed i received a counterfeit crappy battery, so I had a cell repair shop order me a genuine OEM battery and install that. However, I still have issues so now doubting it is the battery itself. I did do a factory reset but to no avail. The battery level can vary but it can still have as much as 50% or more reserve remaining when it does a shutdown. I know this because when i connect to power after a shutdown, it displays a battery icon with a power level. So, in summary, somehow the phone THINKS the battery is fully drained and initiates a shutdown. Any help towards a resolution on this would be appreciated.

Why am I not receiving some text messages from other Samsung phones on Google messenger?

Process System Isn't Responding Can't Click Anything On Screen
I haven't rooted my phone. All I did before the error happened was try to open my default messages app and scroll down in it. (I didn't even get to try to open the message I needed.) I got another error before the Process System isn't responding one, but I can't remember the exact wording just that it wasn't the "Message App not responding would you like to close?" like I expected.
I cannot click anything on the screen. The things I can do are limited to turning the screen on and off, getting the power off options to appear onscreen (underneath the Process System isn't responding message and I can't click them), and I can unlock the screen using my fingerprint but can't do anything once unlocked, not even use the home button, though in trying other "fix methods" (I honestly don't know if I managed to make any of them happen) or plugging it into my computer I got back the ability to open the "recently used apps" screen but still can't click screen options. (The message app does show up there if that matters for anything.) The screen does update though, so I was notified when I got a call and the time and everything else changes.

Battery in LG Optimus G swells up.
I have an old LG Optimus G phone that I really like but recently the battery swelled up so much that the back of the phone popped loose. I ordered a new battery from Amazon (it had exactly the same numbers etc. as the old battery). I replaced the battery and the phone worked fine for a couple of days and now the battery is puffing up again. I've been careful not to overcharge the phone since the battery was replaced.

Bluetooth issue between HTC 10 and MZ-D Connect car system since Android 7
Since Android 7, I have a major issue with my HTC 10 and the Mazda MZ-D connect system. If you leave the pairing on the phone and car, when it reconnects it only has media player as an option, the phone doesn't connect and if you try and reconnect the phone, it states that it can't load the phone profile. The partial solution I have found is to delete the devices in the bluetooth screen on both the car and phone and then reconnect and even this isn't reliable, the system transferred a call from the car to the phone without me asking today, not exactly convenient.......
HTC have stated that there is a know issue between MZ-D Connect and Android 7.0 but there isn't currently a solution???
Anyone else aware of the problem and is a solution being worked on? Have also contacted Mazda via an MZ-D connect support page but am not hopeful....

Is it possible to lock buttons?
Hi! Sometimes when I am playing games at my android, I accidently push one of those 3 buttons at the bottom of screen. The game scrolls down and it frustrates me a little. Is there any way to disable those 3? Or is there any app that locks only these buttons?

Galaxy S6 black screen with white cross and many more problems
So about a week ago, my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6) was fine. But then strange problems started occurring. And this might be hard to explain, but I'll give it a go. So the first thing that I noticed was that my fast charger stock cable stopped fast charging. And then a few hours later, suddenly the screen starts flickering and a white cross appears in the right or left corner and a few seconds later, the screen is back. However I noticed that my phone stopped charging until it happened again. Basically it would switch from charging to not charging every time this happened. So I tried wiping my cache and the same problem occurred. I tried resetting my phone to factory settings and still I have the same problem. However now I can't charge my phone and it's dead. Also when trying to boot it in recovery mode it says "Installing updates..." for a few seconds and then it shows a blue background with a dead Android robot and a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and boots the manual recovery mode screen. Help is appreciated guys, my phone is only 5 months and I really don't want to buy a new one.

Multitude of S6 problems, seemingly stemming from charging port
It all started about a week ago when my charging cable was being seemingly finnicky, in that it would only charge in certain positions. Being the blind optimist I am, i thought nothing of it as it was charging okay, that was when it all of a sudden didn't the next day. The device would completely reject a charge from 4 chargers, all on different power bricks (some official Samsung ones, some not). So while i was waiting for any news as to how i should approach the repair of my phone, i used a different phone. The next day, once my S6 was completely dead, i decided to charge it, the battery icon with a white lightning symbol appeared and actually charged with normal speed, whereas before hand it would just be the battery + lightning symbol. I rejoiced as you would, only to have my phone completely reject a charge not even 24 hours later. I decided to try other means of charging. This being plugging the phone into one of the USB ports of my PC, it charged, albeit very slowly, so I left it on for a few hours, then all of a sudden my phone couldnt decide whether it wanted to charge or not, connecting and disconnecting several times a second before settling. After 4 hours I gave up, and then this morning my phone would seemingly think it was connected to the Gear VR as the screen would go completely black with a small white x, when this screen would go away it would welcome me with the Gear VR set up screen, and so i decided to pull down my notification tray to find that it was flashing between "USB connector connected" and "USB connector disconnected". Bare in mind that my phone was completely unplugged from anything USB at this point.
This whole situation is really baffling me as I want nothing more than a working phone, thank you for any subsequent help.

Why is my headphones not working?
So when i plug in my headphones ,it works like any others would work but then they'd abruptly turn off. I tried blowing inside the jack and cleaning the headphones. The icon shows that the headphones are out but their still in. I pull my headphones out a little then put it back in, it seems to work but it didnt fix the problem.

Can't see quick setting icons after Nougat update
Anyone else having this problem? It's not insurmountable when I open the whole quick setting panel, as you can see the names but if I am just looking at the top panel (which I frequently do to turn on bluetooth/DND/Flashlight quickly, I have to actually remember what is where. It's been less than a day and it's already driving me bonkers.

Hi I was looking at buying a Dual Sim mobile - I am not trendy enough to be buying a 'Badge' however I was wanting something that would last more the pace and do as it says on the tin . Transferring Podcasts between devices
I have transferred a bunch of BBC Podcasts to my PC, where they are displayed as MP3 files & can be played on the PC.
I can upload these files to my new Android Phone (OnePlus3T) but they are invisible to the Podkicker app and cannot be played.
If I download new Podcasts from the BBC, these are visible in Podkicker and can be played.
I've deleted the No Media file which is mentioned elsewhere but obviously made no difference. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
If I can't get Podkicker to recognise the files, I wonder if there is an app that could just play the files as MP3 files?

My google accounts won't sync at all
Nothing works - I can't sync contacts, can't add payment methods on Google Play, can't add files to my Google Drive - It says there's a "network error". Any way to make the SD Card the default write disk for downloaded apps on this particular phone?
I have a Unrooted Oppo Mirror 5 (A51W) and it looks like there aren't any options in the Settings Menu to change the default write disk from the internal memory to the SD Card for downloaded apps. Galaxy S5 Active factory defect or lcd issue?
So I just received my new S5 active in the mail about 2 days ago. During the first day the screen was completely fine but as the 2nd day came the screen started glitching and flickering. It happens when I lower the brightness to as low as it can get or when I power my phone on and. The phone itself runs fine but it's just the screen flickering and glitching that worries me. Should I replace the lcd screen or send it back for a refund? And is it a factory defect or an lcd problem. This phone is new and I have never dropped it or had water leak into it so I doubt that would be a problem.

Saving to SD card on android tablet
Lenovo TAB3 7 Essential tablet purchased for a child. It only has 8g storage but we weren't concerned about that because it advertised the facility to add extra storage with an SD card. I have learnt through searching the web that many others have the same problem with all makes of tablets and phones, regardless of price. The Lenovo website gives details of how to save photos, videos etc. but the "save to SD" is grey and doesn't work. I asked the retailer from whom I made the purchase and he told me that no recent makes of android tablets will save to an SD card.
Can someone please tell me: If I back up the tablet to the card (this seems to be something it will do), can I then delete what is on the tablet and use the aps or files from the SD card?

HTC one m9 camera and upper head phone not working

Why do recieving and sending texts slow my phone to a crawl?
I have an s6 edge and I am using the stock messages app. Sending and recieving texts brings my phone to a halt. I can tell when messages are being recieved before the notification because everything lags. Just try sending two texts back to back. I have to wait for it to finish recieving/sending to even type a word! I noticed this is worse if a lot of texts are on one thread but I delete them regularly. Are texts that prioritized that no other processes can occur before that finishes? Also is this specific to Samsung the SMS app etc...

Samsung Galaxy tab note pro screen flicker and charging issues
I have a Samsung Galaxy tab note pro that has many problems. First the screen flickers even if the charger is on,at basically Every percentage randomly and then would restart itself and say that my micro SD card isn't connected even though it is . Second is that the tablet charges very slowly and is on top of that is hard to get it to charge even with me using it while charging the percentage goes down the only way for it to charge Is if it is off and it usually will only charge for a short time and it will have the icon saying it isn't charging even though the charger is connected. I don't know if this is a battery issue or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) -Isaac

Why is my picture message is coming to me in url form
When some send me a picture it comes to me as a email. I have to Rao in it to open up the message. At the top it said compose. I would like to get my text message with out that problem. I don't no how it got changed.

Can I get help with my S7 edge that fell in a pool and then stopped working?
I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and I'm hoping that it would not be a problem if I live far away from the carrier. The phone fell in a 4 feet deep pool an I took it out immediately then after a while it started glitching out and then stopped working and it won't come back on! :( I can even see water in the both front and back camera! I'm so dissapointed that the water resistant feature did not work and the phone is now onresponsive.
I worked so hard and put out so much and $5000 just gone. I hope and wish I could get some help please...thank you

Why can't I receive voicemail when connected to my gear s2

My phone tries to turn on but cannot
I have an LGVolt (LS740ZV6) and I think it must be in a "boot loop". It never gets to the main screen, just constantly tries to turn on and when it can't, it retries...Over and over... Through some of these posts, I found how to get to the recovery screen but nothing I select has made any difference. At the bottom of the screen there are a few messages...

Why is Android Nougat sooooo plain?
I just received the upgrade to Nougat on my Galaxy S7 Edge. Are they trying to mimic the Iphone? It is soooo black and white...not customizable. I use a number of customization options but cannot do it with Nougat.

How do you restore accidentally photos deleted during transfer from phone to computer
I connected my S7 phone to my computer in order to transfer some photos across. I opened the DCIM folder to view and choose the photos i wanted to copy, and decided to delete some older photos first to free up space. However i accidentally seem to have deleted the new pictures instead. They are not in my phone recycle bin, or my computer recycle bin. I'm not sure where they went, or what software to use to find them again.

Moto G 3rd Generation Apps Won't Load
I just recently bough an SD card for my Moto G 3rd generation and I downloaded some apps ont the SD card. Whenever I try to open one of the apps ive downloaded, it just stays on the apps loading screen and when it does finally go onto the app, you cnat use it. Then the app crashes. Why can't I block email as spam on my Galaxy S6 default email program?
there is no way to identify an incoming email message as spam on my Galaxy s6 default email program nor can I select multiple emails to block as spam. I have the marshmallow version.

Just started today. My Google app widget for searching is not working. The 4x1 search bar you place around apps.
When I type the search completes as usual. When I got enter to search. The page just stays gray.
Cleared the cache for Google and chrome. Restarted and shutdown wait power on. Nothing worked. help!

Why won't my phone turn on??
I dropped my phone recently and the screen went completely blank. When I try to turn the device on the LED light just starts blinking blue as if the phone is trying to power on, but when I hook it up back to the charger it stops and and the red light comes back on.

Cache clearing
Tried clearing the cache while holding down Volume Up/ Power/Home but the Exclamation Mark & tipped android screen has been on now for 15 minutes & is still on. I cannot do anything to exit. Is this normal?

Why has my phone's screen frozen while it's still on?
I was watching a YouTube video on my phone and I took a screenshot of something that I thought was really interesting. All of a sudden, the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini froze up while it was still on, and I can't do anything with my phone now! I can't turn my phone screen off, raise the volume, or even lower the notification bar! The screen is stuck on the YouTube video I was watching, at the very moment I took the screenshot, so what's going on?? I'm a college student, so could it have had something to do with my phone being in the same jeans pocket as my student I.D. for quite a while? Can anyone PLEASE help me figure this out ASAP, so I can continue using my phone normally tomorrow?!?

How do I delete a widget on a full page on s6 active, Android 5.1.1?
My husband received this phone from our son and he took it to the AT&T store to have the SIM replaced and registered. When we got it, the grid of the home screens was 5x5 with a primary app line at the bottom.
Problems:
After we got it back, it's 4x4 with no primary app line and no empty space on any home page - even new ones I add. There are just pluses which apparently want me to add more apps.
I can't get rid of a large widget that doesn't float on long press, nor does it have a "-" when I click on edit.
My questions are:
How do I get rid of this large widget so I can replace it with one smaller?
How do I change the grid size to 5x5? I have been able to delete an app from the home pages, but it the space just fills in with a "+".

Android pay not working on Xiaomi Mi Mix
Hi All,
Just bought a new mimix for use in the UK.
I've installed the app from Google play but when I go to use the app, I get this message:
"Android pay cannot be used on this device. This may be because your device is rooted, has an unlocked bootloader or is running a custom ROM. As a result, Google can't confirm that your device meets Android pays security standards"
The phone is completely standard and not rooted.
Is there a fix?

Why don't I have service?

What should I do if nothing from the Google aps are working?
This question might have a similarity to something else's, but what happens when every Google app (that was preinstalled) stops working? I'm not sure if it's my phone or just a bad day for Google, but apps like YouTube, Google Plus, The Google App Store, etc. have not been working for the past couple of hours. My internet connection is fine and no firewalls should be there to prevent me from that access to those apps, and I keep getting the same notification. May you send suggestions plz? (And yes, I already tried turning it off and on again lol)

Why does Chromecast require app support?
I need to live cast my screen for a digital art demo, but Chromecast doesn't support my digital drawing app (IbisPaintX). I've already got the class used to this tool, so changing that isn't an option. However, they need to be able to see what I'm doing as I'm doing it, and there aren't many ways to connect up to a device from this tablet. When I connect the USB directly to the projector it either doesn't see it, or sees it only as a data source and not a live connection.
There has to be an adapter or something I can get that will make this tablet talk to a projector. I also need it to talk to a TV, but they should be the same solution. Some kind of wireless adapter that will plug into the HDMI port or something. Please help!

Will not stay connecxted to home wifi
had this problem once before - I cannot get it to 'forget' my ssid, needs to forget then reinstate to remain connected my phone is HTC oneX, when I go to ssid it says only 'cancel' or 'connect' - it has something to do with 'remain connected' to unsecure network so the next time im at home it won't remain connected to my home wifi, the last time this happened was about 10 month and my MacAfee contact on my home computer talked me through it, I can't remember what he told me but it was quite simple - I have tried all the usual turn off turn on of phone router etc but it doesn't work any help would be appreciated - Barrie B

Why is the text messages on the lock screen messed up following update?
On the lock screen- When someone text me it will either say Message Message(without knowing who its from) or Have the persons name and the first line of the text. Before the update it would say the persons name followed by "messsage" and that's all.
