Can't answer call when in any app/message.

When I'm writing a message or something and I get an incoming call I get a pop up saying my phone is not working and it freezes up and I have to take the battery out. If I'm not writing a message or in an app it's works normally. Can I have some help please. This is on an samsung s5.
