So this is my problem. I have a Samusung Galaxy s9 and I want to sent a text message (not multimedia) to a few of my contacts but I only want them to be able to reply to me and not in a group text. How do I do that? With my S8 you had the option right above the text box to check and uncheck group conversations.

So I got this app on my phone it deos not work, i tried a lot of things and it still doesnt work
So I got this app from the play store, (I have a galaxy j3) it's called choices, if you search it in the app store it will be an editors choice. I reset my phone 2 hours ago. why am i getting messages on my phone screen from gmail asking for my comcast.net credentials
the message appears on my screen and when i click onto it it sends me to a page asking for user name and password for the comcast email. It has the gmail logo. when i type in the user name and password, it says it can't verify and asks me to change my server settings.

Why do youtube vids im watching sometimes go into multitask?
Recently , when I'm watching youtube videos, the video would go into multitask mode, meaning it turns into a small rectangle in the corner. It happens even when I'm not touching the phone, which is a Galaxy S9+. I'm watching the videos on the Youtube app and not on a browser. When the video goes to multitask, the background goes to the last app, or when no apps are opened, it goes to the home screen. This problem is pretty annoying so it would be great if I could fix it.

storage shows less available space than I have calculated
when I calculated the size off all my images videos and gifs, and added them together, I came to about 1.3 gigs, however, my phone says theres 2.6 gigs of photos on my device. It also says I have 1.4 gigs of games, although if I open the category it shows no apps (I moved all my games to an SD-card), not even system apps.

My album artwork is showing pictures from my gallery.
I started using a new player (Retro Music) and it has been working amazingly since it became my default player. However, just recently, most of my library's album art has been replaced with pictures from my gallery. I've edited the tags, but no matter what, nothing would change. I tested Samsung Music and it's the same problem, only to a much lesser degree. When looking through the mp3 files on the phone themselves, their artwork is perfectly fine and so are the copies on my computer, so I just assumed it was the players. I reinstalled all the apps, restarted my phone, and downloaded a third party album art editor only to find that the same gallery images show up on that editor too and it can't change them either. Also, deleting the images from the gallery just leads to the artwork switching to another image in the same gallery. I don't necessarily find this to be a big deal. It's just quite annoying and it would be great to fix it.

My keyboard is about half and inch above the bottom bezel for some reason, how do I fix this?
Suddenly I noticed my keyboard looked tad off, and also that I was typing worse than usual, then I realized the issue, normally the keyboard rests at the bottom of the screen, but currently its about a half an inch higher right now, and after I reset my phone saw nothing change, I'm using a Samsung galaxy s9 plus.

In public places, my Samsung Galaxy Tab A thumbs its nose at Internet
My Samsung Galaxy Tab A connects to WiFi and Internet fine at home and in some public places such as if there is a WiFi connection but not necessarily to the Internet. I was told by some server at some restaurant that even though it was a hot spot, they did not subscribe to the Internet. If this is not true, then how can I get it to connect to the Internet in ANY public place that has WiFi? I do not have a text phone and no phone data usage service.

Idk if this question has been asked elsewhere, but I can't find answers anywhere, and this is the first time I've used this site. I also don't know how "threads work". Sorry if this is repetitive
I have an s8 and up until now the mic has been working mine. When I try to use "ok Google" shazam or record a snap, the mic doesnt seem to work or be recognized. When using shazam it automatically says "no results" within seconds of pressing listen (when the mic was working, if there was no music playing it would still listen for a while and then say no results, but now it isn't even trying to recognize sounds). Snap and Instagram videos won't record sound. And even the speech to text option on my keyword won't detect the microphone is being used. I assume there is another app using the microphone in the background because I've had this problem before, but resolved by uninstalling the latest app I downloaded. This time I don't know which app it is because none of them asked for microphone permission or is "microphone related" app.
I'd like to add that I've tried restarting my phone, as well as turning off bluetooth but it doesn't seem to work. Also I've just gotten an echo device which is my main suspension for this issue but I have tried uninstalling the Alexa app and disconnecting it from my phone but to no avail.

Unwanted apps, what should i do?

Headphone crackling popping noise
For weeks I have thought my headphones where damaged in some way because of a rhythmic crackling noise. After googling issues regarding noise from headphones and finding nothing I got to thinking myself. The issue occurred mostly when watching movies in bed and music with the phone in my pocket. It was sometimes just seemingly random and other times rhythmic. Trying to replicate the issue by turning, hitting, raising volume and sweeping frequencies on the phone yielded nothing. Then giving up I placed the phone on my chest and it started again. Why would proximity to my body make noise? Well it was the Nfc trying to start communications with my body. After testing it on other things like cards it did not make any noise and testing with other headphones was also silent. My headphones have higher than normal impedance and that plus nfc communication happening near body must somehow introduce interface on the headphone line. Disabling Nfc makes problem go away. That is one very specific problem that I couldn't Google for and hopefully if someone else has it they can solve it.
This specific issue was on an arm64 s7 edge using 250 Ohm headphones but I could see it happen on any device as there is interferance introduced somewhere and other boards might have similar issues.
TLDR: crackling headphone noise from Nfc near body go away after disabling Nfc.

Android Blue Screen: Dowloading... Do not turn off target
I recently dropped my Samsung S6 phone in some water, and after about an hour, it started malfunctioning. After I tried charging it, the blue "Downloading... Do not turn off target" came up. If I press the required buttons to reset it, the screen goes black, but when I try charging it again, the blue screen appears again. Hi there,
Wondering if there is anyway to hide the content of notifications on my lock screen until picking up the phone and verifying it is me via the intelligent scan or fingerprint unlock, at which point the notification content becomes visible and then I can proceed to the home screen via a swipe or other action.
Basically looking to emulate what I used to be able to do on my iPhone XS where the notifications stayed hidden until I looked at it and unlocked it via Face id at which point I could review the notifications (in that horrendous format) and then proceed to the home screen by swiping up.
Appreciate any guidance you can offer.

Android connected but after seconds has no internet.
Not sure if this helps but on the top of my screen in the little bar the WiFi upside down triangle is sometimes whole but then starts flashing, there are two new triangles
1 arrow pointing up
2 arrow pointing down
The up bar, for upload I think, is ALWAYS white.
The down bar, download, is NEVER white, unless of course after a couple of seconds the triangle becomes while again.
There are plenty of electronic s in the house connected to the internet. None of them have the same problem.
To temporarily fix this, for only 5 to 15 seconds, I keep having to disconnect and reconnect.
After a while of not doing this temporary fix, an explanation mark ! appears.
The four bars next to the WiFi only have 2 bars full. There is a number 1 above the bars.
This happened right as I'm writing this but I'll copy text, do the temp fix, and if I have to paste text again.
I've searched for reasons why, none of them work.
1 when I get closer to the router it doesn't change.
2 if a make sure there is a clear line of sight it doesn't help.
3 I've done the date and time trick but that doesn't help either.
What is going on?

The up bar, for upload I think, is ALWAYS white.
The down bar, download, is NEVER white, unless of course after a couple of seconds the triangle becomes while again.
There are plenty of electronic s in the house connected to the internet. None of them have the same problem.
To temporarily fix this, for only 5 to 15 seconds, I keep having to disconnect and reconnect.
After a while of not doing this temporary fix, an explanation mark ! appears.
The four bars next to the WiFi only have 2 bars full. There is a number 1 above the bars.
This happened right as I'm writing this but I'll copy text, do the temp fix, and if I have to paste text again.

Why won't my notification info appear?
This is started recently after I reset my phone and a couple days ago. When I get notifications, the notification itself appears but the info, isn't there. For example if I get a text from my friend Joe, it will give me a notification that Joe texted me, but the text won't be there it will be just blankness. Im on a Galaxy s9+ btw.

Need solution to get Audio back
I am building a high end audio system for my car. The build is based on sound quality rather than the annoying trunk rattling nonsense you may associate with car audio.
I am using an old rooted Nexus 7 using Timurs Kernel and a Marshmallow Rom that sends USB Audio to a high end DAC and DSP module.
I have been using an app called USB Audio Player Pro that apparently has it's own audio drivers that a far superior to the stock Android drivers.
The problem is once I open the app and it begins using its own drivers the only way to get the stock android drivers to "reattach" themselves after closing the app is to restart the tablet.
I would like to think there is some sort of batch file, script, or service I could just restart to force Android to re-attach itself to the stock driver.
Can anyone offer some advice on something I could try?

Need SIM to update Android?
Do you need to have an active sim card in order to receive the latest security updates and android version? A Motorola One I just bought (in Sweden), which runs Android One (which is supposed to update monthly, and is supposed to already have received the upgrade to Pie) is still running on 8.1.0., with the latest security patch being from August. Tech support at Motorola said updates depended on network providers. So do you need to have an active SIM card in the phone in order to receive security patches and android version upgrades?

Why does my Samsung Tab A take so long to unlock?
I've got a Samsung Tab A 10.1. When I wake up the screen to unlock it, the screen often goes to sleep before it can unlock. I'm sure it's due to low available memory. Any idea how to extend that time period?

Unable to log into android tablet due to unknown error
Hello. I have a Samsung Android tablet which I purchased from new. As this tablet was being passed on from my son to my daughter, we performed a factory reset. Now we are unable to get the device working. When we get to the email address and password, we are getting an error message saying "unable to sign into device due to an unknown error" and advising me to try again in 24 hours.
The password was reset back in May and we have been unable to use the device since then. Google have confirmed that the account is valid and correctly set up.

My ex bf cloned my phone. By taking my Samsung device info and using it to register his phone. Once he has access to it. He has rooted my phone's device with open source licenses. Cannot open DCIM on transferring photos
Every time I connect my phone to my MAC the transfer app pops up and I go to DCIM to open and transfer photos but it freezes everytime I click on DCIM. Is it because I have 3k photos to load? I cannot transfer any photos. I never had this problem before it just started to do this. Please help.

On my xiaomi mi a2 the device admin app setting for find my device will activate itself at irregular intervals and on safe reboot.
It will stay off on a normal reboot.
I have checked this behavior on a second xiaomi mi a2 device and it seems to happen on both phones on safe reboot.

Audible books no sound through headphone
I was listening to a book on the phone ans suddenly the sound stopped. The book was still playing. I have sound when i remove the headphones and use the speaker. I can also hear the "clicks" that audible makes when i press something, so there is sound through the headphone, but not the actual book. I have tried restarting the app, the phone and even reinstalled the app. Still an not book through the headpone.

How concerned are you about Android privacy?
As a consumer I'm getting more and more concerned about privacy these days. I'm sick of seeing ad on my FB feed about a comment I just made or a movie I just saw. And sure...all companies do it but Google literally exists to capture my data and what they capture tends to be more specific.
I've never EVER really considered using an iPhone but I'm getting more concerned about privacy. And from what I've read (see links below) it seems like Apple is far less intrusive (and specific) in what they capture and the amount than Android.
So my question is, how many of you are concerned about privacy via Android?
I'm not posting this to make a statement or anything (I'm no cyber security expert). I'm genuinely thinking through this and curious in thoughts from the community.

Other person cannot hear me on 2010 Ford Exedition Ford Sync
I have removed and added my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 more than I can count. Samsung did an update and my phone stopped working. Was working perfectly fine until the update. I have done everything I can think of. Sync My Ride said to bring it in to Ford and for $100 an hour, they will put my phone on Ford Sync. They said it could take up to 5 hours. I have deleted my phone in sync, master reset sync, updated to Sync 3.6 like Sync My Ride said to do and still nothing. Everything installs perfectly. Then I get a phone call and the other person cannot hear me. Have to shut sync off and use my blue tooth. Then I end up removing my phone from Sync again. I have shut the door, opened the door, turned off the engine, turned on the engine, unplugged the battery, reconnected the battery, waiting 30 minutes for the battery to reset. You name it, I have done it. Still nothing.

I'm moderately tech savvy but I have never had an unlocked (or rooted) phone before. My old phone died this week and I would like to finally have a phone that's not loaded with Verizon's bloatware. But I also need to keep my existing contract.
I know that you can drop a sim card into an unlocked phone and get service running on Verizon's network. But most info talks about doing this as a way of keeping your phone out of a contract so that you can move it to another network if you want. I don't care about that part; I just want a new phone that isn't full of Verizon's software but works on their service. Is that possible while also remaining on my family's plan?

Moving photos to and from PC--not able to copy
I am trying to move photos from my PC to my phone and vice versa. My phone,is recognized when I select MTP mode. Sometimes it can find the photos and sometimes it can't. Whenever I can see the files, and try to copy them over, it says "Cannot copy Img. The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected." Why is it giving me this message? I havr my photos on an SD card, but it says the same thing when I try to copy to or from Internal Storage.

Pixel 3 From Iphone. Can't search transferred Messages
I transferred my texts from my iphone upon setup of my Pixel 3 using the builtin transfer feature and the adapter that came with the phone. Why the obsession with storing everything to SD card?
There appears to be widespread obsession with storing everything possible on a phone's SD card. I've read Android (I have 8.1 Oreo) uses an SD card formatted "internal" not "portable" the same as the factory-built internal memory. What difference does it make if the non-removable factory-built "internal memory" fills up? Supposedly, it doesn't make any difference to Android.

This isn't a problem with my headphones because this only happens with videos I record myself and only on the default camera app, which is weird.
When I use snapchat to record videos I don't have this problem, I can hear the audio from both earbuds. I also do not have this problem when using the voice recorder, when listening to music or when watching youtube videos, it's literally just when I record videos using the camera.

Samsung s6 won't turn on

Our current car is a 2013 BMW X5 and of all the phones, the Samsung S9+ is the first and only phone that we've had any trouble connecting. Our car and my husband's S8 connect just fine but my S9+ does that thing where it'll connect for 2 minutes then go haywire. I looked for a 'Bluetooth timeout' setting in the phone but no luck.

Why does my Samsung S9+ delete photos that i take while my phone is locked?
So it's been a bit up in the air but over the last 6months+ that I've owned this phone, any photos I've taken from my lock screen just disappear from my phone's gallery showing up as "cannot display photo" and they promptly disappear from my phone.

Hi All. I noticed recently the Facebook app on my homescreen, but I never installed it.
When i pushed and held down on it, it gave me an info option. I pressed info and under info it had the name "Invisible Net" rather than Facebook. I installed then uninstalled FB and the icon then disappeared from the homescreen. I'm really not tech-savvy so is someone able to explain this? Thanks in advance.

How to show text message by the sender when it is listed?
When I look at my text messages, it shows the person I frequently contact listed first and a number in parenthesis if it is a group message instead of the message owner. For instance, a mutual friend of my husband and I sends a group message to us. Instead of her name being listed when I look at my text message in the main screen, it shows his name. So what happens is I send a message to who I think is just my husband since his name is listed and sending it to him and this group. In short, I need messages listed by the owner of the message.

Direct dial widget takes two steps.
I assigned direct dial widget to a phone number but when I use it I have to go through two steps for dialing a phone number. First I click on it and it presents me the phone number where I have to then click on dial. I don remember it being like that. I wonder if there is a way to go to a single click.

General Bluetooth usage question
I recently switched from an iPhone 8 Plus to a Note 9. I used Bluetooth extensively on the iPhone, so I had hoped I could use Bluetooth just as well on the Note.
1) When I ask to read messages, it reads ALL messages, including messages I've already read.
2) I cannot seem to get it to read my email messages, the new ones, that I get. Should I be able to? I use both the default email client for my work email and ProtonMail for my personal mail.
3) Reading and responding to WhatsApp messages, is this possible via Bluetooth?

LG risio 2 won't play anything
I was watching YouTube and then youtube crashed, I opened YouTube again and then tried to play one of the videos but it did not play, I went to my downloaded folder in the gallery and tried playing one of the videos there but it just loaded for a few seconds and then said that it can't play video, I also tried to play music from Google but it said that it could not play anything,
I'm not sure how this happened but it could be my wifi or the phone.

Settings says my Internal Shared Storage is full when it should not
I have a Moto G4 with Android 7.
At some point in the past I copied a lot of my apps to an SD card.
I wanted to copy some more but couldn't remember how i did it.
I went through Settings -> Storage -> Internal Shared Storage -> Menu option "Migrate Data".
I suspect this tried to copy data back from my SD card to my internal shared Storage.
After a while it returned an error saying it was full.
When I now go to Settings -> Storage -> Internal Shared Storage, it says 10.12GB used of 10.82GB (I have cleared a little since.) It says Apps is 4.75GB and Cached data is 32.39 MB.
I have deleted a load of stuff to get it down to 4.75GB but the system still thinks the disk is full.
I have rebooted the phone and run cleanup programs and file manager apps. It seems the file manager apps can only see the SD card. None will let be browse the internal Shared Storage.
It was only after I deleted some more apps that I could install new apps. The phone thinks it is full.
How do I free up the Internal Shared Storage.

I can’t scroll through alternative faces on my watch
Hi, I have a minor issue.
With the watch on I turn the centre button anti clockwise to get into settings. When I press the watch face icon (centre on the bottom row) I get the message "turn screen back on, press power button". I press the power button and nothing happens. No matter what else i do nothing works. I have powered off the watch and turned it back on again, still no joy.
It used to work but not now.
What have I done and how can i fix it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Which of the two has a better display in terms of quality, the s9+ or the note9? or are they tied?
Also, from what i see the note can be brighter than the plus at peak brightness, does that come into play only under sunlight or it would boost the colors in a dark room too? I intend to watch high quality 4k videos in a dark room should the peak brightness concern me for that purpose?? additionally, if anybody knows, how do those two displays compare to the mate 20 pro display? Samsung J1 2016 black screen - usual tricks don't work
My daughter's J1 has gone to black screen. The motherboard works fine, the phone responds to sms/calls etc but the screen stays black and unresponsive.
I tried soft reset by battery pull. I tried soft reset by power/home/volume up keys. I tried putting it into Android terminal screen. Nothing works.
The display is relatively new - only around 5 weeks - and no visible damage.
If I could figure a way to cast the thing onto my Linux PC maybe I could get into hard reset, which might solve the issue - but I can't do that without a working display on the phone!
Any ideas before I haul it off to the repair shop?

The rate of my phone battery loss is higher than the charging speed, how will my phone turn on?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and its battery has been performing badly recently (i.e. wouldn't turn on unless connected to a charger) but it seems that the rate of the phone battery spending is higher than the rate of my fast charger. What is wrong with my tab 2 7.0?
I've been using my galaxy tab 2 7.0 model GT-P3100 about 4 years already it still working fine. until a friend connected my tab to a local wifi, played for some times and there starts the problem. Looking at my tab the screen were like lagging and I restarted it hoping it was just a minor problem. but since then my tab keep stuck on the opening logo. I've tried hard reset on my tab several times and still the same. I charged the tab fully no problem. Did look at some youtube vids about disconnect the battery and connect it back again its still the same. Please help.

lg stylo 4 pen pop menu not working
The pop menu does not open when I take the pen out. It makes the sound and vibrates but it does not open. I just got it today and all the settings are set to the right things. I have tried restarting it several times and it still does not work.

My phone will get some texts and sometimes not
Recently this december of 2018...i got too close to a wi fi and my phone updated itself without my permission. I never ever update my phone and it works just great until this time.
Now it runs slow and i get only random texts..i.e: my girlfriend will send 3 texts but i only get 1 or 2 or all 3 or none..the same applies to business contacts and friends.
My contacts all have different phones of course, iphones and droids...there seems to be no ryhme or reason to this.
I have rolled back many of the updates but cant seem to roll back the main android update. I have also gained more storage by transferring all photos and music to my computer and deleting them from the phone.
Has anyone else had this problem recently or maybe have some advice.
It is an alcatel one touch with 4.4.2 droid.

Wi-fi not automatically connecting
I just got my Note 9, now wi-fi won't connect at home automatically. With wi-fi on, it works fine when the right one is selected. Once I leave range and return, my phone stays on LTE.

Why is it taking 9 hours to charge?
Yesterday I did a software update on my Samsung Galaxy s7 after it started to run far too slow. That issue I think was fixed in the update, however, something extremely odd is happening. Not only does my phone lose power when I'm on it while it's charging it is also taking super long to charge. On top of that even with medium power save on the power is draining a lot quicker than I believe it should. The approximate time until my phone at 18% was 9 hours and 40 minutes. I am sure that my phone is supposed to take 90-140 minutes to charge from 0 percent to 100 percent... not 580 minutes.
What is happening? What do I do? I changed my charger, outlet, and the box, it went down to 5 hours that is still quite long and my phone isn't even at zero.

Hello, I use Android Marshmallow. On setting> display & brightness, I don't have color correction

Ringtone not covering all numbers for set contact.
The ringtone I assigned to a contact works when she calls me from the work number listed under her name, but not when she calls from her cell listed. All of the numbers are listed under the same contact. It has worked in the past, but recently has been doing this,but only with this one contact (she has 2 work numbers and a cell number listed under her name).

Picture message not downloaded: failed S7
So I have a s7 and I have tried everything I could find to fix this problem. Tried checking the apn tons of times, restarted, turned off the auto download, turned off wifi, turned off data, reverting to an old version of messages which has failed. Swarching for multiple people in samsung gallery
I've recently used the face tag option in my gallery which is handy for searching for photos is specific people, but I'd like to know, is there a way to search for photos with two specific people in them? I've tried searching with 2 names in the search box, name + name, but have had no luck.

Android automatically installing apps
I recently bought an android phone, started it up and updated the software. After about a day I formatted the memory back to factory settings, and did not back it up. However, when I restarted it, a bunch of apps that I had not previously downloaded had been installed. Is this because of the update or is something wrong that causing it to automatically be installing apps?

Missed wifi call notification in right corner

How critical are software updates on a mobile phone? I mean, best to rely on relatively new apple, google or androidone phone to get regular updates at least for 2-3 years, or doesn't matter much?
For example, I may be looking at a Blackberry keyONE, so an older phone with no much support in terms of updates. Am I going to have issues in this case?

Dropped phone. Possible Damage?
Was Sat in a chair and my 3 month new phone slipped out of my pocket and fell from that hight to a wooden floor. My phone is incased in a all sides surrounded shell that is held in a leather case. Upon hearing the loud thunk of my phone hitting the Wooden floor obviously your dreading anything bad to have happened. I do wonder if the wood made the crash sound worse than it could have been. The screen is undamaged and performance dosn't seem to have been effected so far...do you think from the sat hight from being in my pocket to hitting the floor could have caused internal damage? Am worried.

Huawei Mediapad M5 8.4": measured overall thickness including the camera?
I'd like to fix my next tablet in a "RAM-Mount Tab-Tite" tablet holder and the allowable overall thickness of the tablet would be about 9.3 mm.
Is there any Huawei Mediapad M5 8.4" owner around who could do me the favour of measuring it?
Assuming the thickness is the same for both versions, the overall thickness of the 10" version helps equally.

Why does the battery usage dont show the full results on s9+?

How does the s8 plus screen width compare to the note edge?
I recently tried a kyocera duroforcepro2 phone. My biggest day-day realization is that the screen size is too narrow for my finger tips and typing (keyboard buttons-spacing too small).
I reverted to my note edge. Which is nearing end of life, and not long until it it goes to "carousel " (someone will get that).
The flip side of the wide screen is its hard to hold & type with one hand. I'm researching s8+ vs s8 note to find a balance between keyboard space and overall phone width. Then I have to decide the values of the phones features.
The 'edge' feature is a waste of space for the value derived, and creates a great contact point for meeting up with FOD (rocks) when it lands on something. Unfortunately, most phones have the rolled edges, but at least screen guards are available.
Im not sure what the effective keyboard screen width on the note edge vs s8+ & s8 note is. On my note edge, it's about an 1/8" from the left, and the same on the right edge from the "edge" display.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will not detect OTG
Until recently I could plug my S7 (model SM-G930W8) into my PC and transfer files. Now the PC does not recognize my phone (it DOES recognize my Samsung Tablet). Tried various OTG cables with the same result. Phone will charge but no USB connection. Downloaded OTG Troubleshooter app and it indicates no OTG Detected and No USB Device Detected in Android. I have checked under Developer Options and USB configuration indicates Media Transfer Protocol). Can someone help?

I can't use my keyboard on whatsapp. The keyboard pop's up then disappears.
I have reinstalled WhatsApp twice and still no change. I have tried rebooting no change. I use SwiftKey keyboard and I have uninstalled it too and still no change. My phone is htc desire 10 pro.

What does training sample mean?
I feel that this could be quite a stupid question, though I have a galaxy s6 (non edge) in white and I have just noticed that there is "training sample" on the back of it and was wondering if this is found on all of the phones (tried looking at pictures but it either didn't have text at all or it was too low quality) and what it actually means.

Photos taking up too much space

I have an Galaxy A3 2017 (Android 8.0.0, kernal @ 3.18.14) and it was working fine; however, overnight some internet-connected apps have started crashing as soon as they load. Interestingly, this doesn't happen with all apps, or non-internet connected apps. Why is this happening, and how can I go about fixing it?

Is there an app for a wearable with an "always on voice recorder?"
I am interest in the concept of life logging but most devices are cheap or dont mesh well with daily life. I would love an app that was on, preferable Samsung, wearable that has a hot mic. My daughter said "hi, daddy" for the first time today. I have it in my memory but having those candid impromptu moments stashed away would be wonderful. I am a photographer/videographer and I can think of unlimited uses for moments captured like that.
Is there an app that runs constantly in the background that records voice? Does it have loop recording? Emphasis on background, no one wants to see a big red dot that flashes "recording." Csnthose moments be easily accessed and saved to a cloud drive. Could it operate independently of a paired phone if the watch was LTE capable? I would pay good money to have something like this.
