My Kindle Fire HD 10 7th gen suddenly stopped seeing wifi networks and paired bluetooth devices.

Wifi and Bluetooth can be turned on, but the message "no saved networks detected" or "no paired devices available" comes up, and it goes no further. This started after I successfully paired and used bluetooth headphones (Sharper Image) with a mic, which may not be related. Is there any way to restore the old capability?
