why are my earphones not working?

My galaxy grand prime phone recently fell on the beach. After picking it up, I tried plugging in my earphones but they are not working at all, in fact, whenever I plug them in my phone hangs and restarts. What could be the solution? My earphones work in other phones.

So I tried rooting my galaxy s7 edge SM-G935T T-mobile
I used odin pc,so I hooked up my phone and stuff boot it into download mode and when I clicked star to root it said "passed" so I opened cmd and stuff and installed "supersu" and I turned on my phone and supersu was installed.But when I went to "root checker" I clicked check device for root and it said "device not rooted " but I don't understand why not I don't get and error when I start up supersu and stuf.and on samsung+ it said "we checked and your phone is rooted " but I can't open any apps that require root and stuff.im pretty sure I'm the only one who has this problem but please help

Why can't I get my unlocked LG V10 to work with a peruvian Sim card?

I had an unlocked LG V10, and I just got a Movistar (Peru) Sim card but data isn't working. I've loaded it up with credit, selected a data plan, and I've added added a new APN (I think that info is right but now I'm not sure) but still I've got no working data. I've used it with other international Sim cards but I'm struggling today.
The 3G logo shows up in my top information bar, but it's not lit up, and it has no arrows below it lit up either. I had a similar experience when I put my Jamaican Sim card in, but luckily it was an English speaking country so I was able to get help at the mobile company's store, however I do not speak Spanish so I'm struggling today.

New Nexus 5X causes my home router 5ghz signal to disappear

I got a 5X the other week. When I got it home and connected to my home router after a few minutes the 5Ghz signal from the router disappeared and any other devices connected on that channel lost connection. The 2.4Ghz channel is still available and working.

If I turn off the 5X and restart the router the 5Ghz signal comes back and the other devices reconnect without any issues until I turn the 5X back on!

When I initially got the phone it was on Andriod 6 but has been updated to 7 a few days ago but I still get the same issue.
The router is an ASUS DSL-AC56U which I've had for about 6 months and never had any issues with it until now.

Can't reconnect my hotmail address on email app on LG G3 (android)

Background - A couple of times my email app for some reason increases in size dramatically, up to 500MB or even 1GB. The emails in my folder are only small.....usually the app says it is about 30MB. Clearing the cache doesn't clear all this excess data so I have had to clear all data which removes my two email addresses I have on my phone. This restores this 500MB or 1GB of space. However I recently did this and I have not been able to reconnect my hotmail account. My other email address reconnected immediately. I have the right password and all that.....as I can connect to my hotmail on desktop through the outlook website and even on my phone via the website. However on my phone email app I just cannot get it to reconnect. I have various error messages saying can't connect to server or server overloaded. It has been two days now. i like the convenience of this app as I receive messages for two email addresses.
Would anyone have any ideas on why I can't reconnect or current microsoft exchange issues? (noting I can access the account via regular websites).

S-Voice reading weather off in C instead of F. The weather app is showing F though.

I've done some research and realized that there is a way to enable radio bands that are locked.

I would like to get 4G LTE in the US for T-Mobile. Currently, only 4G is available.

Gooligan Hack?

I was just reading about a huge hack of google id's being used to download apps without users' permission. The hack also allows access to gmail etc. although Google says it has not yet been used this way. CNN and Forbes suggested using a website called checkpoint which has a tool to check if you have been hacked. It occurs to me the check could BE the hack for all I know? Anybody know anything about this? Apparently it uses something called ghostpush to root your phone without your knowledge and completely take it over? It only affects android 5 and below.

How can I access my old locked Samsung S5?

I got a new phone over the weekend (Samsung S7), and I assumed I would transfer all my photos to my Drive on my S5 via WiFi later. However, now I can't get into my phone because it is only offering my "alternative" password as an option to access my phone. I setup that password two years ago, and never used it because I always used my fingerprint sensor.

Any suggestions? I've tried going into the Android Device Manager to reset the password with no luck.

Samsung S7 Edge Keyboard not working properly in email text? HELP!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Just suddenly my keyboard is not working properly. Its the weirdest thing ever. Usually when typing an email, when i tap the space bar twice, it will insert a period and capitalize the first letter of the next word. Well only in the email text (it works fine in the email subject line), does it not work any more and its driving me insane because I use my phone a lot for email. Is anyone else having this issue? I have done a factory reset and reboot but still same issue. I even exchanged the device for a new S7 Edge and its doing the same thing on this one. It must be some glitch thats copied over from a previous device but how do I fix this? Please help! Thanks.

I337 won't delete phone

something is wrong with my phone, it won't let me go to recovery mode anymore, and i can't delete anything from back up and recovery. my phone has lollipop 5.0.1 with at&t. i have search everywhere to flash this phone to have it like originally was. when i go to back up and restore and i click to delete everything it just reboots, and when i try to go to recovery mode it won't go in. but i do get into download mode. the volume up key works great and also the volume down key. what can i do to restore my phone the way it used to be?

Why are my photo's a shuffled like order?

Hello, I am a user has switched from using the Galaxy S6 to the Galaxy Tab A, my problem is that my picture order is all messed up.

I transferred my 5000ish pictures from my S6 to my PC with Win10 as a OS. When viewing them in the order of date modified it is exactly where I left it.

However when I transfer the pictures to my SD Card of my tablet it is completely out of order. Even if I use QuickPic and its fix date and other sorting features I come to no avail.

If there is anything I can do to remedy this and I'm sure there is because my PC displays them all the same, I would really love help because this surly has been angering me greatly for the past 3ish days.

Samsung galaxy s7 edge freezes when on charge

I have Samsung galaxy s7 edge and this morning I wanted to put the phone on charge despite having 35% left on my battery. The phone switched itself off showing me a black screen with "Samsung galaxy s5 edge powered by android". I disconnected the phone from the charger and tried to reset the phone (using power button and volume down button as per the advice) but no success.
This is not the first time it happened. It mostly happens when on charge. Phone feels hot.
I only have the phone since end of Septemeber.
Any ideas what I can do please?

I kept hearing the notification sound of charging and not charging repeatedly very fast like 0.1 s interval. The phone went off, no more juice. Since the connection was bad I decided to try another cable, and it did the job. As it was off it charged very well. I waited 15 min. At 10% I decided to turn the phone on and leave it plugged to use it. The thing is, it is not charging anymore when it is on. I tried 8 cables 8 chargers nothing will do. I did a factory reset to no avail. I know the port is good because when the phone is off it charges perfectly. I figured I busted the charging circuit with the poor connection event. What do you think?

No "LTE" icon - Galaxy A9(pro) 6 on T-Mobile (US) network

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here so please excuse me if this is a repetition or the wrong place.

I recently picked up the Galaxy A9(pro) 6 from Asia (Bangkok) while passing through duty-free. I must say I'm happy with the phone.

However, the "LTE" icon does not show on the status bar of the Galaxy A9(pro) 6. It only shows "4G". I am on with T-Mobile network in the US and my previous phone was Galaxy S4 (also from T-mobile) and it did show the "LTE" icon below "4G" in the status bar. We do get LTE coverage here where I am (my home) as per my previous usage of the Galaxy S4.

The Network mode is set to LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)

Is it that Galaxy A9(pro)6 does not show the "LTE" icon as in, it's not part of the feature?
Are my settings correct or do I need to do something to get LTE?

I don't seem to be having a problem with my data as the speed/performance is pretty good. But I'm not sure if this is just 4G or 4G LTE?

Could anyone help and explain what's going on?

Lg g4 android 6.0. not rooted

Using Easy Touch make me to enter password instead of using fingerprint

Previously on an older Android version, while I' using EasyTouch or ScreenOff, I have no problem using my fingerprint to unlock my device. When I updated it to a newer version, I have to use my password instead of my fingerprint.

I notice that when I lock the screen with either of the above apps, I will definitely have to use my password. If I use the physical lock button, it will never be an issue.

I am using Samsung Galaxy A5, haven't root my phone yet.

If anyone can help me to resolve this, it will be super cool.

My wife just bought me a Galaxy Samsung S7. It did not come with any instructions at all. The charger that comes with it is a fast charger....50V/2.0A. I have hundreds of chargers at my house and they are all...50V/1.0A.

I've always been told that fast-charging wears down the battery life much quicker. And that's slow charging maintains the battery life.

Trying to add microsoft outlook account to my android phone

I cannot add a Microsoft outlook account on my android LG G3 phone under settings/accounts/add account. This all started within the last couple of days when my onenote was not syncing with onedrive. I uninstalled onenote and reinstalled. OneNote for Android seems to have installed OK. However, when I try to sign-in with my outlook.com account on OneNote, it just doesn't connect. Then I noticed my outlook.com account is now missing from the account listing. So I tried to once again add my outlook.com account under settings but it doesn't connect as well.

Is there any way to customize the UI of the notification tray (may have wrong name for it but the place where you read notifications after swiping down once from top of the screen). For reference I have been looking into an upgrade from my Samsung galaxy s5 to an s7 edge or s8 edge but want to pixelify my phone as much as possible without installing a custom ROM. Google launcher only changes the UI so much. I would be fine buying a non Google phone if I can customize the notification UI as well.

Just got my home button working on my s4 but it does the back prompt?

So I used the alcohol trick and got my home button working again but it does the back command. If I long press it opens the back buttons long press menu. I can reboot the phone manually, so the home button does work for that. Tried re setting and taking battery out and didn't work. Tried changing back to home wiz and it didn't work. Not sure how to fix it?

Galaxy Tab 10. Do I have a faulty battery problem or a software issue?

Battery discharged rapidly below 40% so replaced it at Batteries Plus. New battery would charge only to 84% and would shut itself off randomly at opening of various apps. Batteries Plus replaced this battery but same problem. When it did randomly shut off, needed to be connected to charger to restart although plenty of battery charge, and time and date needed reset. Performed factory reset and Android reset without benefit. Is this a problem of faulty battery or some software problem that occured in the battery installation?

With the Pixel, do you go a full picture Caller ID?

For example, Im on a Nexus 6P and when I add a picture to a contact, the picture shows on half the screen which i like. Adaptive brightness is enabled even after I disable it

I have a BLU studio x plus and recently the screen has started flickering slightly. After messing around with the phone settings I discovered that the adaptive brightness had been enabled. After the last update on my galaxy s7, the wallpaper goes blurry after some minutes

After the last update, my wallpaper goes blurry after some minutes, even the original wallpapers. I tried different pictures and ways of changing wallpapers but after some minutes they become blurry, and the more time passes the more blurry they get.

How can I disable the "hold" button which I keep pressing accidentally during calls?

I hold my S6 Edge Plus in my left hand. I have an old habit of holding the phone at a bit of an angle to keep from greasing the phone. Unfortunately the dialer has a "hold" button at the top tight of the screen and I am *forever* activating this during a call. It's super, super annoying. I literally do not ever want to put anyone on hold. It's not a useful or needed feature and only gets activated accidentally. I have seen many other complaints about this on S7, S7 Edge etc. but no solutions. Thanks.

Galaxy A3 Digitizer Replacement problem?

Hi guys, yesterday I tried to split my broken glass from the lcd and I succeded with it. After this there was an uv loca gel left over the lcd and I used acetone to remove it.
But the problem is that also at the back of the LCD there was specific tape I think white scotch and black but unsure and she also fell off.

I tried to check if the display is still working and it's working. Just wondered about that tape or adhesive I don't know what is it and, is it so important to install a new one, before apply a new uv loca gel over the lcd.

The tape was between LCD and Copper, directly at the back of the lcd when used acetone it was sticky but removable, so I pull all of it, but display still works.

S3 backup and reset issue

I have backed up many Android devices and when my GF asked me to backup and restore her s3 I didn't think twice. I checked that Google was backing up everything. Clicked backup let it do its thing, then also checked and saw that it was backing up to a Samsung account (using a Hotmail id) and backed that up too.

Did a reset and now have nothing to restore. Only photos were saved...which if only one thing was saved it would be those. But all contacts and s planner items are missing.

Any thoughts? I checked Hotmail and Google accounts but calendar and contacts are empty.

Thought maybe since it was so old maybe they were backed up somewhere else?

Htc ten , not letting me setup again

My HTC ten has gone crazy. I performed a factory reset and it has gone back to setup however when I enter my google account and password it tells me that I need to use one of the user accounts that were synced with the phone before reset.
The google account is the only account that was synced with it.

It won't let me pass this point so my phone is rendered useless.

I bought a refurbished s4 from samsung and it has a peculiar problem... whenever i get to a dialog box that requires a confirmation, like when you want to force an app to stop from the system menu, the expected dialog box will appear in front of the current frame, but i cannot go past it by either pressing 'ok' or 'cancel' this is happening whenever such a dialog appears, in fact, i can't do many things on my phone because i can't agree or disagree to googles terms of use when attempting to sign in. Note 4 Loses cellular network after airplane mode

I placed my note 4 under airplane mode for faster charging and after I turned it off it I
lost my cellular network. No 4G, 3G, 1X i dont even have any bars. I can't make phone calls, I can't text. The phone became a brick and only functions under WI-FI.
Tried taking the battery out, putting it back in.
Soft reset.
Taking the sim card out, placing it back in.
Hard reset.
Going to the Verizon Store and getting a new Sim Card.
Aaaaaand... nothing

Is this a recurring issue on the Verizon Network, or is it the phone itself?

Wake up FireHD screen via swipe or tap on screen without pressing power/wake button first

Hey all,
I was wondering most Android Tablets and phones (at least he ones I tried) have it so you can swipe at the screen first and it will wake up the device.
With the new Amazon FireHD (8") that I bought, I noticed that had to press the power button each time to bring up the swipe screen first, then need to swipe screen to really wake it up which seems kinda redundant.
Would like to kill off the pressing of any buttons to increase device lifetime.
Can the FireHD be setup so touching the screen or swiping at the screen will wake up the device?

I already got rid of ads, added a custom launcher, and installed Google Play on my FireHD.
This is the last main thing I'd want to do so it simulates my other Android Tablet.
Let me know if its possible.

P.S. I tried some apps in the Google Play store but they didnt seem to work
('Double Tap to turn on Screen', 'KnockOn - Tap to wake or lock', etc)

OnePlus 3T - Notification Lock Screen Light Up?

New Android user here. I want my lock screen to light up when I get a new text message. I'm running Oxygen OS on brand new OnePlus 3T, using the default messenger app. The phone vibrates, but I don't get a light up to the lock screen.

Cant receive message from one person in a group message

I have one contact that I cant receive texts from in a group message. When this person sends something everyone else gets it but all I get is a separated message from them with a try again option (which never works).

The odd thing is, this originally started happening when she got a new android phone (LG). At the time I had a windows phone and thought it was my end but when I switched her to a different message app and it started working.

However, I just got a new S7 and once again cant receive group messages from her. Direct messages work fine also.

I tried going into my phone and reset to defaults the APN then reboot but that didn't help. I also tried other messaging apps on my end and delete.re-add her as a contact.

Any idea what else I can try?

Can someone please help me with my Galaxy s5? It has a weird green static.

I have looked into it and found this. When my phone's battery is full, it will start the green static. Also when the brightness is all the way down, the static happens but it's way worse. And when I leave my phone and don't touch it, when it gets to that dark mode to say it will turn off, it happens there. The most annoying thing is when my phone is off, and when I turn is on, it has the same green static and I'll have to keep turning in off and back on again until it is normal. And when I try to turn my phone on, sometimes I will see the bottom keys glowing like usual, but the screen stays black.

Charger burnt and melt in cell phone plug.. note 5

So as i said it ******* burnt.. i just got 2 of these fast charger since this stupid phone doesnt see it a fast charger after 2 months so i need new one.. got that note 5 almost a year ago.. first time it does that doh.. usually just have trouble seeing its fast charger always been like this.. but today went in my car plug the cell phone.. drive 2 min and i smell something i stop.. see my cell phone sending me overheating msg i could hear that ******* thing melting in there so i pull it out and now i just tried the other fast charger and it doesnt see it as a fast charger.. it say full charge in 5h.. i had to blow out the melted plastic in the cell phone plug.. im not even feeling safe to plug it anymore.. is there something i cam do with that?? Galaxy S6 - Is there a way to totally shut off the volume on my phone while maintaining volume control of my bluetooth earpiece? I'm talking all ringers, notifications... everything! My samsung galaxy s5 wont charge unless its turned off.

My phone was charging fine the night before, but suddenly wont charge unless its shut off and then it charges very slow (took almost 5 hrs to charge from 2% to 50%). The battery symbol that normally shows when its off appears and disappears frequently with nothing but the lightning symbol inside it. Then when I turn my phone back on it drains extremely fast (like 2-3% every minute). I tried a soft reboot which didn't help. I also bought a new battery and tried that which didn't help. The thing inside my charger port is a little loose, but has been for months. Could that be the problem or is it probably something worse?

Today my contact list is missing items (contacts). Also under "A" there names beginning with A and B. Then under "B" there are names beginning with B and C. Then under "C" there are names beginning with C, D, E, and F. This goes on throughout the entire contact list. The missing contacts are from random places throughout the contact list.

bluetooth headset connects and starts a voice call

Using a Samsung galaxy note 5 in Australia. Recently updated software to version N920IDVU3BPJ2/N920IOLC3BPJ2/N920IDVU3BPI3. Now whenever any bluetooth device connects to my phone, it automatically opens a voice call, and I need to end the call before I can use the the bluetooth device. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there an easy fix? Contacted Samsung and they suggested full factory reset, which I'm keen to avoid if possible

Factory reset disaster

I did factory reset on my galaxy tab s as had never ending problems with battery life after marshmallow update. Now everything looks different...can't update the os - says it is 6.0.01 but looks nothing like before. Now my bluetooth headphones can't connect as they don't show up when scanning for nearby devices. I wish I had never done the original update! First the battery draining in 2-3 hours and I even changed to a new battery thinking it might be the battery and not android update at fault even though it all went wrong following the update. I posted here for advice then but got no replies...so eventually after new battery not improving things I went for the reset and this was clearly a huge mistake. How can I get back to where I was before marshmallow? How can I get my headphones to work again? Please help....very stressed about this all!!

new Samsung J5 (6) phone failed to send error when emailing attachments

Have corporate email setup on the phone.
Using active sync and exchange 2007.
Can send message Ok but when I add an attachment it sits in outbox with the message "sending failed". Attachment is 394k and is a screenshot of the phone.
Have tried this on 4 different phones with different accounts all with same issue. Have tried both on Wi-Fi and Vodafone network.
If I send the phone a mail with attachment (word doc 45K) I can open it and forward it but the minute I save it to the phone and then try to send it on it fails.
This is using encryption and airwatch
Works ok on Samsung J5 and setup of the 2 phones uses the same settings

The SanDisk Ultra Plus 32 GB micro sd card in newly bought for my ZTE Legacy N817 is showing that it works and is available according to my phone yet it won't let me move my apps from phone storage to the sd card. I have a 64 GB same brand and quality and worked well in my other phone despite it showing the outer signs of being a fake card. I downloaded a sd reader and it read my disk as a sanDisk Micro SD 32 GB card. The cards in my cpu now seeing if it can read it and it does read the e drive but what do I do?

HTC M8 hacked/remote tracked

I think my device is being tracked remotely. I noticed the battery started to drain very fast in the last few weeks. Even when charging it would say it cannot charge quick enough. Today when I woke up I checked the apps in the background and someone had opened voice records, location services, backup settings, bluetooth and some other apps. I know for sure that I restarted my phone in the evening and did not open those apps. It also got very hot while being idle.

My device is encrypted and has a pass lock on it. A year ago it was confiscated by the law enforcement (still encrypted) and they gave it back to me. Maybe it was backdoored? I did, however, reset my phone first.

Is there a way to grab all the logs for the last few days and see what or who has been doing on my phone? My device is not rooted and I restarted it an hour ago again. I hope the logs weren't destroyed.

I'm hoping to confirm that this is happening and I'm not being crazy.

Galxy s5 g900i unable to mount micro sd

I was moving some apps to my SD card to make more space. Me being a silly sausage then realised that you can't run apps if they aren't in the internal storage, so I tried to put it back but I couldn't. Settings said device was unmounted, however it wouldn't mount. Instead it said "unable to mount. Try again" I then tried the following : 1. Restarting phone
2. Formatting micro SD
3.unroofing (I used cf auto root). 4.factory reset
5. Googling for answers with no luck.
6. And obviously trying again

Nothing has worked and I'm getting desperate. Any ideas?

Audio and video not synced

Hey :) . Any time i want a video on my phone including instagram facebook youtube and gallery the video pauses for a few seconds while the audio still plays. then when the video plays again the audio and video are out of sync. It doesnt matter if the video has fully loaded (youtube) or if i watch it a second time it pauses in the same place and problem still persists super annoying and iv read through other people with problems like this and there are no good answers. my phone also has super ****ty reception like everywhere and its annoying as hell especially when people on the same provider have a strong connection. thanks for any help. my one is a galaxy lte core prime

Pink tint on top of droid turbo

Hi everyone. I recently bought a used Motorola Droid turbo and noticed burn-ins within the screen, along with a reddish tint at the top of the screen. Is there any way to remove the burns and the tint, or should I just accept my fate and stick to the phone? I have seen a few burn in fix apps on play store that looked promising. Are they worth trying, or will they make the tint even worse?

Need a good combination case w shield for S7 Edge

I just bought an Incipio DualPro. I love it but it is lifting my ArmorSuit matte shield. The corner edges are lifting. The Pierre Cardin case seems to not lift my shiekd but it isn't as comfortable where I rest my pinky when I hold it. I also used a Supcase which lifts the ArmorSuit matte as well but not as badly as the Incipio. This case is bulkier and heavier. I do like the DualPro's lightless and ease of install and comfort. I was wondering if anyone found a shield that works well with this case.

Audio Apps pausing every five minutes, help!

I listen to lots of podcasts, audiobooks, and music, and it seems that no matter what app I use, whatever I'm listening to will be paused every five or ten minutes or so. This makes going for a run or a long drive when I want to listen to music, or a podcast, or audiobook VERY irritating, because I have to go back into the app and press 'play' each time it pauses.

I have disabled power saving, tried a variety of different apps... I just don't know what else to do. Any known solutions to this problem??

Still have internet access with wifi and data turned off

I'm new to my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and to data over cell phone towers so forgive me if this is a dumb question! I can turn wifi off using the pull down notification panel. I also can turn off mobile data by clicking its icon on the same panel. If I go to data usage in settings, 'Mobile data' is not checked and the icon in the top right has a line though it and no upload/download arrows. But I can load a new page in my browser just like normal. It is obviously using my data to access the internet since I can do it when no wifi is available. The only way I have been able to turn it off totally so it does not use data is to create a dummy APN and select it rather than my provider's APN. That does it since now it will show I have no internet connection when I try to load a page in the browser. That doesn't seem correct - am I right?

Well, I thought that was my problem...... In trying to recreate the situation I described above prior to posting, I now find I cannot use my mobile data at all! Mobile data is on, the proper APN is selected and the icon in the top right is showing without a line through it and with upload/download arrows (the icon is an "H" with arrows underneath - don't know what the H means but that's the way it was). So that's my current problem I need help with! So why can't I use mobile data now? My account is still good.

Unlocked Network Confusion: Purchasing U.S. CDMA vs. GSM

Hi all,

I've been needing to upgrade from my SS Galaxy S3 for a while now (old phone, bad battery, failing charging port). I purchased the phone through Virgin Mobile a few years back, and have had a non-contract plan through them. To my knowledge, the phone and the Virgin Mobile network is CDMA.

However, I keep finding conflicting info on whether it really is purely a CDMA or GSM network, or whether I could purchase a GSM unlocked phone along with a Virgin Mobile SIM card and activate it on their network. I find countless deals on slightly older (i.e. SS note 4, Galaxy S5, etc.) GSM unlocked phones, but have been reluctant to grab one. Hoping someone might be able to clear this up for me... Worst case scenario, I can grab an unlocked GSM and jump ship to T-Mobile probably.

Why does my phone say it's charging, but the icon is an ! and stuck at 1%?

This problem has plagued me for days. I have a droid ultra, and it seems the charging port is a bit touchy. Sometimes it works, others it doesn't. Battery life

I'm confused. I hear that when your phone gets to 50% to charge it to maybe about 80 or 90% and not to let it go under 50% but then I also hear to charge your phone when it gets to 15%.

I just want my phone to have a good battery life so I don't have battery issues or battery draining issues.

Just bought a brand new Moto G4 operating system is Android 6.0.1 my proximity sensor is saying that it's not working but I don't know how to even do what they're asking to find out if it is working the phone it has to do with the phone going dark when it goes to your ear but when it moves it supposed to come back on so you can put the phone on speaker but that stopped working about 3 days ago I keep pushing the button on and off on the side but it will never come on stays dark and then eventually it will but by that time my call is over or I can't hang it up and I've had the phone a month.:(

Nexus 7 Gen 2 (2013) black screen and not responding

My Nexus 7 Gen2 was working perfectly until yesterday evening when I was watching a video (with full battery) everything went black. I have tried the following without any luck:

Hold down power button for 30-60 seconds
Hold down power and volume down button for 60 seconds
Hold down power and volume up for 60 seconds
Hold power and both power up and down for 60 seconds
All of the above with cable connected and not
Connected to a computer
Removed battery

When I do connect the tablet to a computer I can hear the computer recognizing the device. However, it cannot install the driver. I have tried to get this online without any luck. When I hold the power button while connected to the computer the icon and sound of the device being connected does disappear for a second before returning.\

Any help at all would be appreciated!!

No browsers are working - start loading and then website can't be displayed.

Hi everyone,

Recently i've been having issues with Chrome not loading web pages (any page at all). It happens every time i open the browser. It starts loading and after awhile it times out with the "took too long to respond"/"webpage not available) error.

This happens on both wifi and mobile data. I've had it happen on multiple different wifi networks as well. The internet is otherwise working fine - i can access other apps, etc but not through a browser. Even pages which will display in Facebook will not display when i ask it to open the page in a browser.

I have tried:
- different browsers which all have the same problem (Chrome, Firefox, Rocket, Dolphin). I also was going to try Opera Mini but it won't actually install. It gets to about 90% and says "Failed to download required content. Check your connection and try again." (again on both wifi and mobile data)
- hard reset
- powering off, waiting a few minutes and powering back on (this does fix it temporarily, enables loading of one page and then it gives the same errors again - on all browsers).
- clearing cache (general phone cache and specific browser caches)
- uninstalling and reinstalling browsers (uninstalling updates in the case of Chrome)

My phone is up to date and running version 6.0.1

Any ideas?

Front Camera Glitching/Screen-tearing

The front facing camera on my s7e keeps glitching and showing vertical screen-tearing. It doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it will be consistent in snapchat/skype but not in the camera app, and it never happens to the rear facing camera. This phone was a replacement through Samsung protection plus, so I could definitely return it, but I just don't want to deal with transferring my stuff all over again if it's simply a software issue. Any help is appreciated. Anyone else have this problem?

Is there a way to unlock the samsung note 5 when forgot pin code

initially i had my phone set up with fingerprint password and upon letting the phone go completely dead, I charged fully and when turning back on it states to use pin not fingerprint. I did not remember pin so i finally tried to reset under android device manager and phone states locked by device manager but the pin i chose will not work. HELP ME PLEASE, I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE ALL MY CONTENT!!!!

Cannot open Recently Open Tabs on Galaxy J3

6P won't turn on after 7.1.1 beta download?

Hello, I downloaded the 7.1.1 beta this morning and it seemed to go O.K. For some reason, a few hours later the phone just went to a black screen. It had enough battery but it will not turn on! I even tried plugging it in and holding the down volume and power button but nothing will get it to turn on. Please help! Whats the problem? Thanks.

I got the tablet about 2 Days ago and hasn't fixed itself. It will connect to the Internet and other apps works fine, but when I search something on my Web browser, none of the Web pages load. I will be given the "aw, snap!" Page. When given some results on Google it will give me images that I can look at, just can't load the Web pages. How do I backup saved emails in Outlook on Samsung Galaxy 6?

I am in the process of backing up my Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge prior to moving to a new phone. I have connected the phone to my Windows 10 computer through a USB port and it appears in Windows Explorer as a drive.

On my phone in Outlook I have a number of saved emails in a subfolder "SAVED EMAILS" (under the email account through which they were received) which in turn has subsubfolders where the saved emails are kept. When I look at the drive on my computer that is the phone backup I see only the few saved messages that are directly in the "SAVED EMAILS" folder but I see neither the subsubfolders under it nor the messages that are stored in those subsubfolders.

I hope that is not too confusing and someone can tell me whether and if so where my saved emails can be found and whether I will be able to get them onto my new phone.

Fix hard bricked non rooted Samsung I9190 Galaxy S4 mini.

I have a S4 mini that I've been using for about 2 years. One day when I was playing some random game on it, with the battery life at around 50%, my phone suddenly turned off. Ever since then I haven't been able to turn it on or make it respond to anything.

I've tried different chargers and even 2 different batteries because I thought maybe it had something to do with the battery. Nothing happened.

I read that you can force it into recovery mode by pressing and holding volume up, home and the power buttons but nothing happens when I do that.

But it showed signs of life when I connected it to my computer via USB cable. It showed up as qhsusb_dload in device manager. The phone was still off and I couldn't really do anything but it gave me some hope.

I started googling it but all the results involved rooting, which I haven't done. The results said to enter download mode to flash stock firmware files(and other files) using Odin or similar programs. I tried to do that even though my problem isn't root related but soon bumped into the problem that I couldn't enter download mode by pressing and holding volume down, home and power buttons.

But one thing that helped me(I think) is when I downloaded QDLoader HS USB Driver. It made my phone show up as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 in device manager instead of qhsusb_dload.

qhsusb_dload had a warning sign next to it in device manager but QDLoader HS USB Driver doesn't, which I think is an improvement.

But from here on I'm stuck. Anyone got an idea on how to fix this? Or is it over?

samsung galaxy note 10.1 discharging

I left the tablet for 24 hours charging but in the next morning, it only had 30%, it was still discharging. I unppluged it and it was working like before, but when I conectted it again with the charger, the same thing like before happened. If anyone has an idea of how to fix this, please reply to this.

Why do I not have an app button on my homescreen?

Most every phone has a circle button with dots in it located in their home touch buttons to get them between their home screen and their apps. I do not have this and everything is altogether on a triple home screen. I have the LG G Stylo 2. Can this be changed?

Keyboard Voice to Text not Working

I'm trying to audio text but when I push the microphone key on my keyboard it won't allow me to record. When I tap the screen to talk it goes back to off. The microphone key is located on the left side of the bottom row next to the &123/abc key.
