Camera roll pictures are rotated horizontal when sent on snapchat

I have an s7 edge, and pictures that I take using my camera app are showing up horizontal when i send in snapchat text. Say i take a selfie with the front facing camera, and send it to one of my friends on snapchat, it shows up horizontal to me and them.
