I am trying to transfer the SD Card data to a new SD Card (bigger capacity), are there any issues?

Just accessing the SD Card via a PC and copy pasting all its folders to a new SD card, will it do the trick? My concern is there are apps which its storage is inside the SD card, will there be issues assessing my apps? Other datas like photo, videos and music should not have a problem. I am using Samsung S7 Edge with a 16GB SD Card storage at the moment and I wish to change it to 64GB SD Card.
