Where do I find the most recent downloaded file on Galaxy tab4

I have a Galaxy Tab 4 and have been sucessfully using it for 3 or 4 years, however I used to have an icon on desktop showing recent downloads but not any more. Where did it go? Is there another way to access recent downloads or am I losing it. Please help!
