Gmail notification email delays deleting message

When I receive an email on my Huawey Novaplus Smartphone and I read it on the notification popup have to wait for about 6 seconds since I push the delete action.
In previous versions of Gmail app the action was instantaneous. I have updated all core Android and apps. What happens ?
