Why when i connect my phone to my pc it shows pics and vids of ads?

Im need to the Android family from having an iPhone and I'm confused as to why when I plug my phone in to my PC it takes a while to load my actual pictures and videos in my gallery bc all of these weird ads of videos and pictures? Is there anyway to stop this so it can only upload videos and pictures from my gallery instead of other places? My phone is Samsung Galaxy s8 plus
