MHL not picking up phone through HDMI Cable

I have a Samsung J3 and purchased a micro usb MHL Cable set up to watch from my phone to TV. When I plug in the device, set up micro usb to phone, HDMI Cable to TV , the MHL comes up on my TV sources but no picture of my phone. Any help or suggestions
