Why is my lgl58vl trackphone seeing my nigeria sim card as an invalid one?

My lgl58vl is a trackphone and when i was given , it was with a track sim card and i have been using it through wireless connection i.e wifi, for browsing for two months , because i was yold by the giver that it doesnt use anyother sim card . today i try using my Glo line in it and it says "invalid sim card " . pls help me out
