How do i enable google assistant by long pressing the home button in moto m ?

My phone is motorola m . It has been upgraded to nougat. Recently i had to factory reset the phone. After that, the google assistant which used to appear by long pressing the home button no longer appears. Kindly help me as it is very important and urgent
