Why does my new custom ringtone keep replaying the first 10 seconds?

I've had a custom ringtone that worked fine in the past, but my new custom ringtone will only replay the first 10 seconds. When I go into my settings and press the ringtone to preview the tone, it plays the full 30 seconds. Then when someone calls, it just repeats the first part of the ringtone over and over.
