Earbuds cause phone screen to freeze- unplugging them catches everything up

for example, if im playing music my phone screen will freeze on spotify, unplug and it will catch up to the time passed. if i tap on apps with it in then unplug, it opens them all at once.

happened with other headphones before randomly. samsung galaxy core prime
